BST: 3.5K

What is it? We can't tell you yet...

When is it? We hope to present it at Arisia 2007.

Will it be presented in RetroVison? But of course.

Can you give us a hint? Ok - ok "In the not to distant future Da-Da-Da"

Who are these people?

"The tree needs pruning. It's time to cut the Deadwood from the tree."

"Hey, wait. That's us!"
The Deadwood Society grew from friendships made in the BSTA. We have since expanded farther with new additions over the years. We took the name so that as we continued doing projects we had something we could call ourselves. I mean it sounds better than "Those crazy friends are at it again!" Deadwood productions in one form or another have been at Arisia since the very beginning. During the snowed-in weekend, also known as Arisia 2005, a few of us were hanging around reflecting on the Party we had thrown at world con. We thought hey we could do that here (Arisia) and that's where the Retro Sci Fi party got started.
a brief history of Deadwood projects

Retro Sci Fi Party:

It's a Party! It's a Mixer! It's a Blast!

It's a dance surrounded by RetroVision. Two screens project all the hopes, fears, and visions of the future from the past. Watch the good, the bad and the just plain ugly as you dance to the tunes spun from Arisia's Grand DJ, Johnny Zed. A celebration from when the atom was a blast and the future was great!
